Dean of College of Arts and Social Sciences & Assistant doctor at Sultan Qaboos University, Department of Information Studies, graduated from Sheffield University in 2012. He has distinguished teaching and research experience at the University level. Instruction and training solutions on issues of knowledge management, digital libraries, knowledge society, and knowledge economy.

He published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters in both English and Arabic. He had been the head of the Association of Specialized Libraries– Arabian Gulf Chapter during the period 2017 – 2019 Currently, He is the president of Arab Federation of Libraries and Information.
