The hall houses the electronic library, which provides search and access services for complete electronic university theses, along with their abstracts. It also allows searching in databases, journals, and e-books for all users, including faculty, staff, students, and other researchers.
Additionally, the hall includes a specialized laboratory for students with disabilities. It features tables at various heights to accommodate those with mobility impairments and facilitate computer use. There are also modern, speaking computers for blind students and those with visual impairments, as well as screens that enlarge text for those with low vision. Braille printers are also available. The hall is named after Dr. Kamel Al-Asali, who served as the Director of the University of Jordan Library from November 18, 1968, to July 3, 1983. The hall is located on the ground floor of the main library.
