Legacy of Ibn Khaldoun
The Father of Sociology
The hall is named after Ibn Khaldoun, the renowned 14th-century Arab scholar, historian, and sociologist. Considered one of the greatest social scientists of all time, Ibn Khaldoun pioneered the scientific study of society, history, and economics. His masterpiece "The Muqaddimah" laid the foundations for modern historiography, sociology, and economics, making him a fitting namesake for a hall dedicated to comprehensive reference works and interdisciplinary knowledge.
