This Division is engaged in the process of cataloging and classifying printed, electronic, and audiovisual library materials according to the Dewey Decimal Classification System. This process involves designing bibliographies of works associated with the same subject or author in accordance with the latest international standards of cataloging, including the Anglo-American Cataloging Rules (AACR2), MARC 21, Resource Description and Access (RDA), and the Dewey Decimal Classification System.
The Division is also responsible for the final technical processing of resources, in addition to barcoding and routing them to their appropriate locations in the Library.
