Shari’a Courts Records
      The Shari’a Courts Records consist of old national documents, including decrees of appointments for government posts, in addition to other official and public announcements. The collection also holds records pertaining to a wealth of legal matters, such as buying and selling, civil lawsuits, marriage and divorce, inheritance, and religious property (Waqf). The records available in this collection date from the Ottoman era (spanning from the 15th to the 19th century) to the period between 1926-2003.
